Innovative Financing: Banks and Energy Conservation
This is one of dozens of documents produced by the Department of Energy in the late 1970s to promote energy conservation, and while much of the data are now outdated, many of the lessons dealing with encouraging participation in these reports are just as valid today as they were in the last century. Items like these can serve as a great jumping off point for a research project comparing government action and public participation across the decades, as well as the evolution of energy conservation techniques.

British Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee
British Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee visited German manufacturing plants, research laboratories, and other war-related facilities to interview managers, scientists, and engineers as they were captured by Allied forces. After collecting relevant documents, these groups wrote technical briefs on individual subjects, production processes and new technologies. They also prepared reports on whole industries - notably the German dye industry - and on construction projects, such as German underground factories. This collection would be useful for researching industrial activities of Nazi Germany during the war.
